Lit With Joy

040

I can’t get this question out of my mind: “When your children walk into the room do your eyes light up with joy?”

I work with so many parents and grandparents who search for ways to enrich their children’s self esteem.

I usually suggest they stop noticing what the kids are doing that needs improvement and be more conscious to verbally appreciate the good stuff.

I will forever include the advice in the opening statement because there is no gift a grown up can give to a child more precious than reflecting the delight this child brings to the world just by being.

Let the light in your eyes reflect the love in your heart.
